Monsoon Recovery

During the end of January and beginning of February, communities in North Queensland, Australia experienced two years worth of rainfall in just two weeks resulting in widespread building damage and loss of livestock. Nearly 3,000 homes have been declared damaged or destroyed, and damages are estimated at more than AUD$175 million. 

Airlink and Air Canada partnered to transport specialized volunteers from Team Rubicon Canada and Team Rubicon Australia to impacted areas to clear debris and repair homes.
